Dagestan head to join presidential commission on federative relations` strengthening
Russian president Vladimir Putin held the meeting with chairman of Dagestan State Council Magomedali Magomedov and chairman of Popular Assembly of the republic Muhu Aliev. As a reminder, Magomedov announced about resignation on February 16.
Putin thanked Magomedov for sufficient contribution to stabilization of situation in North Caucasus and suggested him to become a member of Commission under president on strengthening of Russian State system and federative relationships.
"I understand that your decision to resign is connected with age - you are 75 years old. At the same moment I know that youhave no problems with health. And I suggest you the position in one of commission under Russian president, which is occupied with problems of development and strengthening of Russian state system and federative relationships", - said the president.
President`s plenipotentiary in Southern federal region Dmitry Kozak suggested 3 candidatures on position of State Council chairman: the speaker of Popular Assembly Muhu Aliev, head of federal Treasury administration over Dagestan Saidgusein Magomedov and Makhachkala mayor Said Amirov.
